Cervical Cancer Awareness

Dr. Kamran from Cooper Hospital spoke on cervical cancer, HPV, causes, prevention, and myth-busting. The seminar aimed to educate participants on cervical cancer risk factors, promoting HPV vaccination and routine checkups.

Akanksha Event
Mithibai College celebrated Akanksha – Girl Child Day on January 29, 2025, with 200 attendees and 77 volunteers. The event promoted girl child education, empowerment, and equality through interactive stalls, debates, quizzes, and performances. Principal Prof. Krutika Desai inaugurated the event, emphasizing the importance of nurturing every girl child’s potential.
Financial Literacy & Investment Education Through Gamification
Mithibai College’s Women Development Cell organized a session on Financial Literacy & Investment Education Through Gamification on February 24, 2025. Dr. Amanpal Singh Chawla shared his expertise on saving, building financial habits, and achieving stability. The interactive session included a quiz and introduced the SAARTHI App, empowering attendees with financial knowledge.

The interactive session introduced students to Akshara’s mission, services, and opportunities, including workshops, events, and leadership programs. Akshara hosted a youth empowerment event on September 27, 2024, at Rizvi College, attended by 6 colleges and over 100 students. The event featured discussions, games, and activities focused on citizenship, fundamental duties, and social transformation. It concluded with a showcase of group presentations and performances, promoting interaction and collaboration among participants.
Akshara’s Y Talks session on “CLICK WITH CARE: DIGITAL SAFETY FOR YOUTH”
RATI & Akshara hosted “Click with Care: Digital Safety for Youth” on December 10, 2024, at Ruia College, addressing online safety and digital challenges. On November 18, 2024, 5 NSS Mithibai students attended “Beyond the Bro Code” at RJ College, exploring masculinity and gender roles.
