The NSS Unit observed International Yoga Day on 21st June 2025 by organizing a guided yoga session for volunteers. The activity emphasized the importance of physical and mental well-being through traditional yoga practices.

On 10th September 2025, the NSS Unit of Mithibai College, in collaboration with Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, organized a Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Session for its volunteers. The session was conducted by Dr. Sameer Pagad, Director of Intervention Cardiology at Nanavati Max, who addressed the critical issue of cardiac arrests and heart attacks, one of the leading causes of death today

On 25th July 2025, the NSS Unit of Mithibai College conducted a Menstrual Health Awareness and Sanitary Napkin Distribution Drive at St. Elias High School, Khar (W), Mumbai, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote menstrual health, hygiene, and dignity among adolescent girls.

The NSS unit of Mithibai College in collaboration with the VD Indian Society for Mentally Challenged Children organized Rakhi and Gift Selling Event from 6th August 2025 to 8th August 2025 in the Main Foyer of Mithibai College. The event aimed to raise funds for the NGO by selling handmade rakhis and gifts created by the children supporting their education and welfare while celebrating Raksha Bandhan.

On 9th August 2025, NSS volunteers celebrated Raksha Bandhan at Juhu Police Station by tying rakhis to police officers as a gesture of gratitude and respect. The event highlighted the bond between the community and law enforcement fostering mutual appreciation and goodwill.

The session was conducted on 4ᵗʰ September 2025 at Mithibai College. This session aimed to promote peace and non-violence through an interactive talk by Ms. Kripaya Joshi, encouraging reflection on the impact of war and the need for harmony in today’s world.

Faculty of Mithibai College donating blood

The Blood Donation Camp was organized on 10ᵗʰ September 2025 for the entire day at Mithibai College in collaboration with Tata Memorial Hospital and Lions Club of Byculla. With the support of 135 volunteers 82 units of blood were collected during the event which would be contributing to the treatment of cancer patients.

The NSS unit of Mithibai College organized Beach clean-up activities at Juhu Beach on 7th and 14th September 2025, Carter Road Beach, Bandra on 7th September 2025 and Mega Beach Clean-up in Bandra in collaboration with Swachha Vaundra Abhiyaan, Maharashtra State Forest Department and Mangroove Foundation on 20th September 2025. These clean-up drives aimed to contribute to environmental conservation by cleaning beaches and to reinform the message of maintaining cleanliness and reducing plastic usage among the public.
