Mumbai: SVKM’s Mithibai College on
quite a roll, just recently having made the headlines after receiving an ‘A’
grade and a CGPA of 3.57 by the NAAC. Now, this prestigious institute continues
to hit all the right notes when it organized an organ donation awareness
programme on the 25th of February, 2016. The Department of
Economics, mainly T.Y.B.Com in association with Shrimad Rajchandra conducted
this awareness drive.
An offsite workshop on "Sustainable Quality Enhancement" was organised for the faculty at Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodini, Uttan, on 18th- 19th March 2016. The workshop was conceptualised by Prof. V.V. Dalvie, IQAC-Coordinator.

It is the academic intercollegiate fest organized by the Biochemistry discipline of Mithibai College, illuminated Mithibai College this year on the 31st July 2015. In its Tenth year, a galaxy of activities was organized for the students.
NISARG Nature club of Mithibai college organized the annual event Vrukshavalli - an Intercollegiate competitions based on the Theme of SOILS on 18 and 19 December 2015, as a part of celebrating the International Year of SOILS,as declared by the United Nations.
Department of Botany organized the annual event Saptaparni on 11th August 2015. This was an Intercollegiate competitions of Biorangoli, Biojewelery, Fruit carving, Vegetable printing and Bottle garden.

A group of 56 students of T.Y.B.Com had filed a petition against Mithibai College and University of Mumbai. The honourable High Court has dismissed the petition by mentioning that Mithibai College has followed the entire procedure as per University ordinance 6086 and have kept all the records orderly.
