NGO BAZAAR - January 2018
The Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) committee of Mithibai College organised “NGO Bazaar” an exhibition cum sale of products hand crafted by various NGOs on 24th and 25th January, 2018. This shop for a cause event was the brainchild of the committee convenor Dr.Anjali Patkar and co-opted member Ms.Sonali Chatterjee. Both of them proactively took up this noble cause along with other committee members and student volunteers. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Principal Dr.Rajpal Shripat Hande who appreciated the items on display and encouraged the exhibitors.
The exhibition got a good response from students and staff members from Mithibai College and also from visitors of the adjoining SVKM institutes. There was lot of excitement among shoppers as creativity at its best was on display.  Hand made jewellery, clothing, bamboo artefacts, dry snacks, handbags, accessories and  paper craft were some of the many items that were displayed and sold in the event.
