Paper Presentation & Publication

Presented a paper on the topic ‘Population Growth and Land Use Changes in Greater Mumbai and Its Impact on Urban Heating’ at the Paper Presentation Competition at The Inter-SVKM Research Meet, ‘Manshodhan’ at Mithibai College (Autonomous) on 15th February 2020
Presented a paper and a video on the topic ‘An Overview of Temperature and Rainfall Trends in Maharashtra: A Regional Approach’ in an online International Conference on ‘Our Earth - Our Resources’ organised by the Dept. of Geography, Gudleppa Hallikeri College, Haveri, Karnataka and Konkan Geographers Association of India.
The paper on the topic ‘An Overview of Temperature and Rainfall Trends in Maharashtra: A Regional Approach’ was published in the UGC CARE Group I Multidisciplinary Journal, Vol. 10 Issue -5 No. XII. May 2020 with ISSN 2278-4632.

Department of Commerce (Discipline -Environmental Studies) in association with Nisarg, Nature Club (Degree College) organised a Webinar on Urban Biodiversity on Friday, 5th June 2020 at 11.00 a.m. on MS-Teams. The speaker was Prof. Dr. Parvish Pandya, Consultant - Sanctuary Nature Foundation, Head - Science & Conservation and former Vice-Principal & Associate Professor in Zoology, Bhavan’s College.
