Hindi Department came in to existence in 1961.  The Department has one Full-time Teacher in Degree College to teach the subject of the First Year, Second Year B.A. Degree Course.  There is one Compulsory Hindi Paper and Ancillary (Optional I) Paper at the F.Y. and two paper at the S.Y.B.A. levels.
  • The Department Organizes literary functions viz.Book release, Poets’ mett, Students participate in competitions in Elocation, Debate, Story writing, Poetry reading, Singing, Essay writing and One Act Play.

National Seminar

  • Mr.. R.V. Panse presented a paper in national seminar on 6th & 7th March, 2016 in Vaghire Mahavidyalaya Saswad Pune, Topic – Rashtriya Ekta Tatha Vikas mein Rashtrabhusha ka Yogdan.
  • Mr. R.V. Panse presented a paper in National Seminar on ‘Hindi Patrakarita ka Badalta Swarup’ at S.M.G. Mohekar College, Kalab Dist. Osmanabad on 23rd December, 2011.
  • Mr. R.V. Panse presented a paper in National Seminar on ‘Swatantrutyar Hindi Sahitya par Marxwad ka Prabhav’ at R.P. College, Osmanabad on 29th and 30th November 2013.

International Seminar
  • Mr. Rakesh V. Panse had presented a paper on ‘Loktantra ke sandharbh me in Sant Tulsidas ke Ramcharitmanas ka mulyakan at International Seminar. This three days International Seminar was jointly organized on 2nd, 3rd and 4th December 2010 by Sathye College, Department of Hindi, Vile Parle (East), Mumbai, ‘Ayodhya Shodh Sansthan’ and U.G.C. This International Seminar was organized on topic “Loktantra ke Sandarbh me Bhartiya Bhashao ke Ram Sahitya ki Prasangikta”. 
  • Mr. R.V. Panse presented a paper in International Seminar on ‘Bhartiya Sanskriti: Ram Sahitya se Jude Kala Sandarbh’ at Sathye College, Vile Parle (East) Mumbai – 400057 on 10th and 11th February, 2012.
  • Mr. R.V. Panse presented a paper in International Seminar on ‘Tulsi Sahitya mein Manavmulya’ at B.K. Shroff College, Kandivali (West) Mumbai on 12th and 13th December, 2014.
  • Mr. R.V. Panse presented a paper in International Seminar on ‘Hindi ka Vaishwik Swarup’ at Birla College, Kalyan on 27th and 28th November, 2015.

Students with Hindi can pursue the career in Mass-Media-Journalism, Advertising (copy writing) Teaching, Public Relations, Event Management, Translator, Government Officer, Story Writing (Script – Film, Drama etc.)
