Introduction

The three year degree course for B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com / B.M.M is divided into six semesters and follows the Credit Based Grading System effective from 2011-12.

First Year B.A. (6 Papers: 600 Marks per semester)Semester I and Semester II

(i) Compulsory Subjects

  • Foundation Course- I
  • Communication Skills in English (with tutorials)
  • Language (other than English), viz. Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi or French.
(ii) Ancillary Subjects :

A student can select any one of the following combinations:

  • Economics - Sociology - Marathi

Second Year B.A. (8 Papers: 800 Marks per semester)Semester III and Semester IV

(I) Compulsory Subject : Foundation Course - II

(II) Ancillary Subjects : 
3 Ancillary Subjects (with 2 papers in each subject) are studied in First Year B.A.

(III) Applied Component : A student can select any 1 of the following subjects:

  •     Social Work & Social Welfare

Third Year B.A. (6 Papers: 600 Marks per semester)Semester V and Semester VI

Specialization in one of the following subjects (with 6 papers) is offered in the Third Year of B.A.
